 Huawei E589-u12 is 4g Mi-Fi (Mobile WiFi Router) which supports all kind of GSM Network, using GSM SIM card you can create wi-fi network which allows upto 10 users to connect and share data.

In order to use other operator we need to unlock E589U-12. Unlocking of E589U-12 can done by following below steps.

1. Turn Of Wi-Fi Modem.
2. Note down IMEI Number (Which you can find written backside of modem).
3. get your unlock code for your device and note down it at some safe place.
4. Now turn on your router.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi Network created by your router (E589U-12)
6. Now open http://192.168.8.1 or htpp://pocket.wifi (Don’t Worry if it says your Router is locked or Invalid SIM).
7. Go to ADVANCED SETTINGS >> SIM SETTINGS >> UNLOCK DEVICE.
8. Here you can find the box which ask you to enter the UNLOCK CODE, Please enter the UNLOCK CODE  which you got in STEP –3.
9. Click On Apply and you are done with unlocking

Note : Don’t try to insert wrong codes into your E589 (E589u-12) WiFi Mobile Router Gateway, otherwise E589 (E589u-12) WiFi Mobile Router Gateway will be locked permanently. You can purchase from any server or us to get unlock code for your Huawei WiFi / MiFi router.
